There is no medal which possesses such wonderful power, and which is more highly esteemed by the holy Church than the Medal of St. Benedict. Medals are intended as a means of reminding us of God and of stirring up in us a ready willingness and desire to serve God and our neighbor. They are not lucky charms nor do they have magical power to give us health nor wealth.
