This family of 6 (hence the name MuSIX) take their faith to the max with a Mission of their own. Their mission is to make awsome, upbeat music that contains positive messages so as to empower and challenge both young and old to bring morals and values back into our society.
The members of the "Musix"/"Word Up” group are all home schooled brothers and sisters. To date, Musix has performed in front of thousands at festivals,carnivals, dances, sporting events, and churches. The group's expertisein martial arts, coupled with their singing, harmonization, dancing,and ability to communicate through sign language puts Word Up in aclass of its own when it comes to showmanship. Alyssa, the lead female vocalist has also performed for over 1000dignitaries in Washington D.C. singing the Star Spangled Banner whenshe was only six years old. She and CJ have also sung the Star SpangledBanner for the Opening Ceremonies of the WEKAF World Eskrima Tournamentin Orlando, Florida in 2006, and for local sporting events.
